The main reason for building the Vale do Rio Hotel Rural was the existence of a small hydroelectric plant that had existed there since the end of 1800. After it was duly restored, the idea of sharing the magnificent landscape of this place was considered.
This is an innovative project, an eco-hotel that aims to take advantage of and explore various renewable energy sources.
The hotel has 30 rooms, one suite, two superior aqua deluxe rooms and one room adapted for people with reduced mobility. All rooms overlook the Caima River and its stunning banks. The rooms offer a relaxed atmosphere without neglecting the sophistication of a four-star hotel.
