Guarded by an imposing hundred-year-old Sequoia, the 5* Hotel
La Nauve in Cognac, a member of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux
collection, is set in 4.5 hectares of parkland. The grounds are home
to some 400 species of flowers, fruit and ornamental trees, aromatic
plants and forgotten varieties of vegetables.
Restored to the highest standards by the best craftsmen in the
Charente region, the estate comprises two 19th century Belle Epoque
buildings: the Petit Chai and the Ancienne Distillerie, each of which
houses a restaurant: the Brasserie des Flâneurs and the gourmet
restaurant Notes.
Like the other hotels in the Almae collection, La Nauve, an intimate
hotel with just 12 rooms, offers bespoke guest service.
Other facilities include a swimming pool, a bar, a library, a vegetable
garden and a fishery. A true gourmet garden for amateurs of rare
experiences!
