Casa da Galeria – Azores Art of Hosting offers tourist accommodation with an innovative concept of hospitality, focused on the fruition of contemporary art.
The ‘Casa’ is the result of the considered and contemporary re-appropriation of a 19th-century property in the historical centre, 450 m from the Portas da Cidade, 50 m from the Carlos Machado Museum, 900 m from the Senhor Santo Cristo dos Milagres shrine and the same distance from the Portas do Mar Natural Swimming Pool. We are part of ‘O Quarteirão’, a creative and artistic neighbourhood of our town, an intangible concept created by established cultural organisations and businesses in the local area and a must-see for anyone visiting the island.
