Here, nature has unfolded it’s magic and even the first rain showers, feels electric, like something you have never witnessed before. Within minutes, the landscape changes; the grey clouds hobble against one another, the birds waiting at tree tops call out to their mates and the trees dance to the rhythm of the wind. When the sky opens up, fat, torrential droplets of rain falls in a single sheet, filling up the rivers, soaking everything that comes in its way. But it’s a wonder and soon within minutes the sky has cleared and everything around looks so freshly bathed, ready to pose in all its finery.

Sharing its boundary with the national park which is a sanctuary to a multitude of wildlife species, there always lies a possibility of coming across some rare sightings. Here, it is not uncommon to spot a family of deer’s near the river bed or a majestic elephant taking a casual stroll peeping beyond the fence to watch at his onlookers. Late nights when the sky is lit up with an abundance of stars and you have only the forest sounds for company, there is every likelihood of hearing the famous Royal Bengal Tiger call. A white owl stands guard at the railing, swinging his head sideways, his honey golden eyes capturing every movement in the dark.
Early mornings, the melodious chirping of the birds, fills you up with a music so unadulterated and pure that it feels like a balm to your tired soul, erasing all the worries.
