Casa no Tempo was our grandfathers and has been in our family for many years. It was his wish that we looked after it for the next generation. We always have the opportunity to elevate what we inherit. In the case of Casa no Tempo, it is exactly what we did. Aligned with our grandfather’s vision, we have continued to connect the stories of the past with what is possible for the future. In doing so, we have left a mark for others to experience. The renovations were carried out under the guidance of our good friend and architect, Manuel Aires Mateus. The surrounding farm, Herdade no Tempo, not only supplies our family and residences with exceptional produce, it also recalls a profound and precious relationship that we are meant to have with the land. All the floors are paved with local clay tiles, which are heated in the winter. There is a fully equipped kitchen, built from beautiful white marble. Enjoy gathering together at the large dining table, which sits in front of a huge window overlooking a 400sq - meter swimming pool. The lounge is a luminous area with white sofas and a uniquely designed fireplace. The 4 suites are very spacious, with a mixture of modern bedding and local wooden furniture. Each one includes walk-in showers and toilets, with exquisite handmade tile finishes.
