The Hotel Barí Bucaramanga is a sincere tribute to the Department of Santander and the ancestral settlers of the Catatumbo region: the Barí indigenous people, belonging to the Arawak family. Historically recognized as a warrior pueblo whose strength and fighting spirit allowed it to survive over time, Los Barí is an indigenous ethnic group originating from the area between the municipalities of Tibú and El Tarra.
The hotel's logo references the Hormiga Culona, an unequivocal symbol of Santander's strength and a gastronomic icon of local culture. The ant represents the inspiration of community work, autonomy and cooperation between everyone.
