Born in 1993 and refurbished in 2010, Hotel Porta do Sol Conference Center & Spa located in the heart of Caminha, offers accommodation solutions for all guests, whether for leisure or business.
At the entrance to the walks along the river, between mountains by the salty Atlantic breeze, the Hotel Porta do Sol welcomes you with the hospitality of the Minho people. Considered a classic of the North Coast, the hotel is located next to the Minho River, between the mountains and the mouth, with stunning views over the river and the sea.
It has a variety of room types: doubles, twins, family rooms, master and premium suites. Room amenities include balconies, queen size beds, double showers, wireless Internet and 32-inch TVs.
The hotel’s restaurant, Espelho d’Água, has capacity for 120 people and a wonderful panoramic view over the River Minho. Also oriented towards the corporate market, Hotel Porta do Sol has 4 conference rooms, one of which has capacity for 250 people. All rooms have natural light and are equipped with the necessary audiovisual equipment.
