Such is our passionately discovered and built vacation home, SaffronStays Crescent Bay near Palshet Beach in Guhagar. A place where the sea high-fives the sky making you believe that THIS is where you belong.
An ideal destination for family getaways, road trips with friends and/or intimate celebrations such as milestone birthdays and anniversaries, this 3-bedroom sea-facing home near Guhagar is dotted along the coasts of Konkan.
When looking for a city detox, what better than someplace unknown, untouched and unexplored, right? This private villa near Mumbai and Pune stands at an elevation offering panoramic views of the sky and the sea. Such calm and tranquillity, it's as if this side of the world is blissfully unaware of the chaos and the daily hustle.
The home flaunts a mix of traditional and modern interiors along with sustainable architecture. Cosy, red laterite walls wrap the home in a vibe that is similar to that of a countryside home. Whereas roofs showcase wooden beams and rustic attributes with an open ceiling plan.
Wish to know more about the home aesthetics? Every nook and corner is thoughtfully adorned with a curated collection of contemporary coastal furnishings. Walls wear portraits of anything and everything sea, whereas cushions (plenty of them) feature marine bird prints. Be on the lookout for more (and more) tiny elements that will remind you of the sea such as shells in the bathrooms, rooms named after fish, miniature ship wheels, lamps and so much more!
Bedrooms (each with an ensuite bathroom) are named Snapper, The Heron and Top Sail respectively. Two out of three bedrooms are on the first level whereas one bedroom is on the ground level. The nautical elements - thought of and designed by the HomeOwner herself - will make your heart happy.
The large dining area is the highlight of the home. It overlooks the tidal waves that touch and leave the port and is also where you can gorge on wholesome lip-smacking Konkani and Maharashtrian dishes prepared by our in-home chef, Rina.
What's more, you ask? Our Property Manager, Vishwas, would help you explore the neighbourhood through some fun and exciting adventures such as angling, hiking through the Palshet forest, or watching the Anjanvel Lighthouse.
