At the crossroads of the Alps and Provence, just a few kilometers from the Gorges du Verdon, the spa town of Digne les Bains,
capital of lavender, welcomes you to its green setting.
A spa town since antiquity, its waters gush out at 50°c and are recommended for relieving rheumatological pain and respiratory
ailments during a spa treatment, or simply for a wellness and fitness vacation.
The building, which today houses 17 spacious, comfortable rooms, bears witness to a rich past: from a 16th-century convent to a
20th-century residence where novelist, trade unionist and Resistance fighter Maria Borrely stayed. The house has had other
vocations, which we'll be sure to tell you about during your stay. We take great care to ensure the quality of the environment, and
for your well-being, you'll discover charming rooms with personalized decor based on Provencal themes. One room, on the first
floor, is reserved for people with reduced mobility. To ensure your satisfaction, we take great care to keep our rooms impeccably
clean and provide comfortable bedding; most mattresses are 160 cm. Each room opens onto a fully-equipped, functional
bathroom designed with the same high standards of quality in mind. L'hôtel de Provence offers free WiFi access to the Internet,
and every room is equipped with a flat-screen TV with traditional channels.
