The Hotel María Cristina was opened in 1986, but the history of the building dates back to the 15th century when the Hospital of San Lázaro was founded, later it became the Colegio de María Cristina for orphans of the Infantry, called "Huérfanos Cristinos" after the queen mother María Cristina, of which the beautiful "Ápside" still exists.
The Hotel has been completely renovated in 2022, if you stay at our hotel you will find comfortable rooms, with modern furniture and all the amenities and details necessary for a pleasant stay.
Located between Museo Tavera and Plaza de Toros, 250m from Puerta de Bisagra, the main access to the walled enclosure.
We have a covered garage inside the building.
