Neptune Ngorongoro Lodge is well recognized as the premier luxury property at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Situated on 50 acres of Virgin Tanzanian bush in the Karatu district about 160 km from Arusha Airport. This all-suites retreat is located a mere five minutes driving distance from the entrance to the world famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area and world heritage site – the Ngorongoro Crater.
True hospitality fused with traditional wood log style lodge architecture and elegant European and African furniture and décor welcomes guest in splendid style surrounded by the natural magnificence of the highlands of Tanzania.
20 luxurious 1,300 square foot suites have been built in individual cottage style. Enjoy a refreshing drink or tea for your afternoon break on your large outdoor private viewing terrace or in the comfortable and spacious suite living room heated by an open fire place.
The formal dining room features an outdoor terrace with the majority of the meat, fruits and dairy products sourced from our vegetable garden and from the communities that surround the conservation area.
Relax and enjoy your favourite drink or cocktail when reading one of the numerous safari and Africa
dedicated books available at the lodge. The traditionally decorated ambience offers a peaceful and calm atmosphere during the day and in the early evenings.
Bush dinners and sundowner cocktails are organized with reservation in dedicated areas around the camp and are served around campfires to give you the true Neptune safari experience.
