Snug in the cotton fields of Sunna village is the meticulously crafted Sterling Tipeshwar, just a stone’s throw away from the Tipeshwar Tiger Reserve. As the sun goes down, the forest skyline just a field away is bathed in fiery orange complementing the earthy ochre of the dried grass, branches of gnarled trees rise up tearing apart the orange skies, whilst the famed tigers of Tipeshwar stalk through the dry brush.
The lush soft grass of the extensive lawns and the fragrant Raat ki Rani flowers, the golden fig tree saplings challenge the hardy landscape and creates the magic of Sterling Tipeshwar -an oasis of green. Barbeque dinners on the lawns or dining in Airconditioned comfort at the Foxy Sparrow is an epicurean journey- ethnic yet contemporary, the menu replete with dishes crafted from local produce reflecting the ethos of the land bordering Telengana and Maharashtra and the cuisines of the hardy local folks who have thrived in this challenging landscape.
10 safari tents, 2 Luxury tents and 8 cottages built by the local craftsmen guided by fabled tent makers of Rajasthan open onto the inviting lawns. In the morning the orange sphere rise over the tents creating an imagery of yore. The tents and cottages open on to the lawns and features all the mod cons which take the tiredness out of the safari. Enjoy a steaming cup of coffee on the patio the parrots and mynahs flitting through the starfruit trees bordering the lawn.
