The cottages at Verdant Valley have first row seats to honey-toned rice fields and the Kedar Peak that looms over the famous Kedarnath Temple. A stroll –away wends the Mandakini River, rushing over boulders to meet the Alaknanda River in Rudraprayag. A picnic here is the simplest form of fun. Temple bells from ancient shrines, and birdsong fill the air, slowing lulling you into relaxation.
