Located amidst the backdrop of the lush green forests at a convenient drive from Nagpur is Rukhad Jungle Camp. A simple and rustic accommodation, our four cottages and eight standard rooms are a perfect getaway to explore the central India’s hidden gem, Rukhad. The guests at the resort benefit from its tranquillity and its proximity to the gates of Rukhad Sanctuary.
Erstwhile known as Bison Sanctuary, Rukhad is a buffer zone of Pench Tiger Reserve. What makes Rukhad special is that these forests serve as a wildlife corridor between two major national parks - Pench and Kanha. Unlike the core zones of Pench Tiger Reserve which are closed for tourists for 3 months during the monsoons, these beautiful dense forests are open throughout the year. Tourists visiting Pench often come to Rukhad for its sightings of wildlife like tigers, leopards and sloth bears.
The resort along with it’s multi cuisine Bison Treat Restaurant is located adjacent to the national Highway (NH44) connecting Jabalpur to Nagpur. Open for guests beyond the ones staying at the lodge, Bison Treat also serves as a midway for guests looking for delicious meals and amenities.
