Ready for an adventure? Slaley Hall is a former hunting lodge in the beautiful Northumberland countryside surrounded by unspoilt moorland and dense forests teeming with local wildlife.
Spread over 1,000 acres of land, our sprawling estate has a wealth of history to its name and dates back to Edwardian times. Originally called Bog Hall Farm, it was later bought by Major Charles Hunting and then the Priestman family, who our two Championship golf courses are named after.
Our mansion house played a vital role in World War Two, serving as a hospital, and was eventually turned into a hotel in 1980. Over the years, we’ve hosted some illustrious guests. The England football team have trained here for matches in the North East, and our hall has been used for concerts by the likes of Elton John and Madonna.
Today, Slaley Hall is proudly part of The QHotels Collection, and we look forward to welcoming you to our estate to get active, or simply unwind. Whether you’re visiting with the family, catching up with friends or travelling for business, everything you’ll possibly need is catered for.
